This is a "well used" but totally functioning tripod.   There are some quirks about it - as in the bottom stage legs do come out of the tripod - see photos.  Please note that one must be aware of this since this isn't conventional. 

One minor dent does make one leg slightly stiffer to extend, just requires slightly more pressure.   

A good starter pair of sticks for someone that wants a lightweight sticks with 100mm receiver without breaking the bank.
