NEW UNUSED Gray 1998 Satin Box Variant Nintendo 64 N64 Controller Complete CIB

- Up for sale is a new/unused gray Nintendo 64 controller. For those who don't know, this is the 1998 variant. These are much harder to come by than the 1996-1997 launch versions. The Gray N64 controller is special because it was the only solid color controller to receive this update in 1998. Nintendo changed the box finish from gloss to satin and changed the cardboard insert from white to brown. Just like Extreme Green and Atomic Purple, it has the same satin finished box, brown cardboard controller holder, and Nintendo warranty paper.

- The controller is new and has never been used, but has a few marks on it (quality control mishap?). The joystick bowl is glossy and shows no signs of use.

- The box is in excellent condition. There are only a few imperfections. I would ask more if the box was completely flawless. Also, the reddish retail stickers point out that it was originally sold at Target back in the day.
