Intro:
The Isle of Man TT (Tourist Trophy) Race is a motorcycle racing event held on the Isle of Man and was for many years the most prestigious motor-cycle race in the world.

The event was part of the FIM Motorcycle Grand Prix World Championship during the period 1949-1976 before being transferred to the United Kingdom after safety concerns and run by the FIM as the British Grand Prix for the 1977 season.

The Isle of Man TT Races became part of the TT Formula 1 Championship during the period 1977-1990 to preserve the events racing status.

From 1989 the racing has been developed by the Isle of Man Department of Tourism as the Isle of Man TT Festival.

The Snaefell Mountain Course or Mountain Course is a road-racing circuit used for the Isle of Man TT and Manx Grand Prix Races held in the Isle of Man from 1911 and 1923 respectively.

The racing is held on public roads closed for racing by an Act of Tynwald (the parliament of the Isle of Man). It is the oldest motor-cycle racing circuit still in use.

The course is 37.733 miles (60.73 km) in length and the start-line is situated on the A2 Glencrutchery Road in the town of Douglas.

The racing circuit is based on a number of public roads on the Isle of Man including the primary A2 Douglas to Ramsey road, A1 Douglas to Peel road, A3 Castletown to Ramsey Road and the primary A18 Snaefell Mountain Road. The highest point of the course is situated on the primary A18 Mountain Road between the Bungalow and Hailwood's Height at spot height 422 metres (1,380 ft) above sea level.

Description:
The Official Review of the 2015 Isle of Man TT is jam-packed with action from one of the most sensational meetings of recent years.

Everyone had their favourites coming in to the event but few could have predicted the eventual winners, especially when you see how close the racing was.

The first big drama of the fortnight came from Michael Dunlop, who took four wins in both 2013 and 2014, as he ditched his Yamaha team just days into the practice period to ride for BMW once more. From there the form book went out of the window and the tens of thousands of fans on the Isle of Man were treated to a week of record-breaking racing and wall-to-wall sunshine.

Whether solos or sidecars, every class was filled with talent and everyone was out to try their utmost for the chance to stand atop the podium with the famous TT trophy held aloft in their hands. It was the year for comebacks Ian Hutchinson back to almost full fitness following a five-year recuperation from serious leg injuries sustained short circuit racing; Ben and Tom Birchall back after their huge crash at the Black Dub in 2014 and John McGuinness back to full fitness after struggling through TT 2014 with a broken scaphoid. With Guy Martin, James Hillier, Ivan Lintin, David Johnson, Dean Harrison, Lee Johnston, Conor Cummins, Gary Johnson and 2014 s sensational newcomer Peter Hickman in the mix in the solos you'll be on the edge of your seat for every second of the race footage.

The sidecars were equally well served with Dave Molyneux and John Holden each partnered by new passengers; Benjamin Binns and Dan Sayle respectively, whilst 2014 Champion Conrad Harrison returned with regular chairman Mike Aylott. The Official Review is heaving with the best of the best bits from a truly memorable TT fortnight, which saw new lap and race records in just about every class.

The Isle of Man TT 2015 fuelled by Monster Energy was a record-breaking affair that had it all: sunshine, drama, excitement and a sensational comeback to rival Mike Hailwood’s.

Anticipation was high before the start of the race with an entry list that was a veritable “Who’s Who” of the World’s elite road racers.

Any of the top ten or so riders were in with a chance of a win in any of the solo classes and there were plenty of quality sidecar crews determined to make an impression on the podium places.

No fans can have left the Isle of Man disappointed with what unfolded – surely TT 2015 proved to be one of the best meetings of the 21st Century, and maybe of all time?

Lap and race records tumbled throughout the week, there were new faces on the podium and some that fans might have thought would never been seen on the top step again.

For once the Isle of Man was blessed with wall-to-wall sunshine for race week and it led to some of the closest racing ever seen on the 37.73 mile public road Mountain Course as heroes of the road like John McGuinness, Ian Hutchinson, Guy Martin and Michael Dunlop got down to business.

All-in-all it was as action-packed as anyone could wish for and throughout it all our cameras were on hand to catch the highlights.

With the best bits of all seven solo and both sidecar races, plus lots of the atmosphere away from the races, this is the comprehensive, indispensable Official Review of the Isle of Man TT 2015.
