 The American West (formerly titled The West) is a limited-event American television docu-series detailing the period 1865 to 1890 in the United States. The series was executive-produced by Robert Redford, Stephen David and Laura Michalchyshyn with Sundance Productions and aired for eight episodes on AMC from June 11 to July 30, 2016.

From Executive Producer Robert Redford, The American West tells the story of the aftermath of the Civil War and how the United States transformed into the "land of opportunity" spanning the years 1865 to 1890. Viewers will be transported into the violent world of cowboys, Indians, outlaws and law men. The 8-episode limited event series chronicles the personal, little-known stories of Western legends such as Jesse James, Billy the Kid, Wyatt Earp, Crazy Horse and Sitting Bull. The series features exclusive interviews with notable names from classic Western films, including Robert Redford, James Caan, Burt Reynolds, Tom Selleck, Kiefer Sutherland, Mark Harmon, Ed Harris and more.

Following the American Civil War, the United States begins developing into the "land of opportunity," despite the danger from cowboys, Native Americans, outlaws and lawmen. The series chronicles the stories of Western legends, such as Jesse James, Billy the Kid, Wyatt Earp, George Armstrong Custer, Crazy Horse and Sitting Bull.

1. Shipping time:
If your item is to be sent to/from an International destination your delivery tends to take about 2-4 weeks.

If you have not received your goods at close of business approx. 6-8 weeks after shipping (see date quoted by post office after which we can lodge a complaint in delivery estimate email), please get back to me ASAP so I can chase it up for you.

 NB: DVDs that are sold as Region 2/4 (or 1/4) are dual layered. The packaging often only lists Region 2 (or Region 1) but these DVDs should be playable on all Region 4 DVD players. But may not play on devices such as X-Box, PC's. Mac's and Playstations.
 


 

 

3. Handling time:

  1. Goods in stock are typically shipped within 2 business days after payment is received.

  2. Note that goods sent from different countries may have different holidays than Australia.

IMPORTANT DVD INFORMATION FOR MY AUSTRALIAN, NEW ZEALAND & EUROPEAN CUSTOMERS:

As per the auction these are US/Canadian Region 1 DVDs (see map above) and you need a multi-regional (multi-zone) DVD player to play them!

BUT don't panic just yet :-)

Many DVD players are easy to unlock.
Let me know the brand and model number of your DVD player so I see if there is a simple unlock code for your player.

Many of my non-US/Canadian customers chose to play or copy these DVDs on a PC before playing them.

I also see there are many economical Multi Region DVD players on EBay ($35-50).
Just do a search if you wish.

It seems a shame to let go of this great DVD set.
