Offering this simply gorgeous vintage Josef Hoffman smoky topaz cut crystal 10 inch vase by Moser.  This piece was produced in Czechoslovakia in the 1930's.  It is done in an Art Deco/Industrial style featuring a octagonal shape with faceted panels surrounding the vase.  The vase is made of a heavy grade grey/smoky topaz crystal and is approximately 10 inches tall and 6 inches in diameter.  The vase is flared and is wider across the top than the bottom.  It is 3 1/4 inches diameter across the bottom.  There is an apple seed sized chip along the outer upper rim near one of the points.  There is minimal loss of glass and the octagonal shape remains intact. I do also feel some slight roughness along the rim in another area but do not appreciate any additional chipping present.  There are a several superficial scratches on the flat bottom surface of the base of this piece.  This is pretty characteristic of this vase and is consistent with age and usage. The glass is clear and bright.  There are no cracks, stains, or signs of repair noted.  This piece continues to show beautifully and I consider it to be in very good condition.  It would make a lovely addition to your home.  It would be the perfect statement piece for an entry way table, mantle, or coffee table filled with fresh flowers.
