CHAIN GANG - World’s Greatest Illusion – You Can Easily Carry it in Your Pocket!
This idea was taken from the late Martin Gardner. It is one magical kinetic illusion that baffles all that see it!
Imagine showing your spectator(s) a 13-inch long chain made
up of 30 solidly interlocked split rings. One
end has a single black ring and the other end has a single silver ring with 14
pairs of black and silver rings between them. The chain can be passed around
for close inspection.
The top black ring is held in two fingers of one hand with the 2nd
silver ring below it held in two fingers of the other hand (Remember – there
is a single silver ring at the bottom of the chain). When the black ring is
released (Despite being held securely in place with the other rings), it
cascades all the way to the bottom of the chain where it now ends up as the single
solitary ring.
You could also switch and start with the silver ring and
this silver ring would travel all the way down the chain and exchange places
with the single black ring at the bottom.
This can be done over and over again – right in front of your
spectator(s) eyes.
This is a powerful illusion and will baffle and bewilder
all who see it as, what they are seeing, is impossible!!!
There are four additional lessons which can be demonstrated with
this amazing illusion. One is to never
give up when things seem impossible. The
second is the power of practice. The third is to always think before reaching a
judgement or conclusion as sometimes things are not always as they seem. The last and fourth lesson is the harmful
effects of gossip and what you can do to stop it at its source. All these lessons are included with this
powerful illusion.
Anyone can be taught to use and demonstrate this magical
chain and complete instructions are included.
It only takes about a minute or so of practice to master these magical
links.
Each chain is proudly made by hand using a special
technique.
Please note that the wooden holder shown in the photographs is not included in the price. This is used
to simply showcase my chain and create curiosity when someone sees it on my
desk.
