This is a vintage 1960s Lovebright Diamonds hinged ring or jewelry gift box. The box is an ivory color with "Lovebright" in cursive on the top. Inside the top is an ivory satin with "Lovebright Diamonds" in gold lettering.

The bottom is lined with red velvet and has a unique display aspect. There is a velvet lined slotted area where you can insert a ring (see example in picture) and as you lift the top of the box open the ring lifts up in the slot and presents itself at an angle. When the lid is closed the slot lowers into a horizontal position in the box leaving the ring suspended horizontally. Very unique. 

Edges of lid and bottom are a goldtone metal and there are some tarnished and rusty spots (see pictures).
