All records are graded vinyl / sleeve when grading. If only one grading present the records comes in plain paper sleeve
Packaging & Sales Information:
LP's: There
records are packaged in standard record mailers with thick cardboard inserts.
Records valued over £20.00 will be removed from outer and inner sleeve, then
packaged separately so that the inner sleeve is not damaged in the postage
process. Sealed records will be sent unopened
unless the buyer would like me to open the record and remove the vinyl from the
inner sleeve to prevent damage to the inner & outer sleeve in transit -
please notify me whether you would require this.
Singles: These
are packaged between two very thick pieces of cardboard then wrapped in postage
paper or an addition layer of cardboard. The singles are very secure between
the cardboard with an overlap of roughly 1cm from each corner so your record
will arrive safely to your door.
Sales Information: If you would like to know anything that I have not covered in
the description please send me a message and I will be happy to help whether it
is about the record for sale or the sales process.
Payment is expected within 24 hours of clicking Buy it Now, unless you
can message me to extend this period.
Record Collectors Grading System:
Mint (M)
The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or
deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric
sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or
Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent (EX)
The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very
little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight
wear and/or creasing.
Very Good (VG)
The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major
deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the
occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items,
without any major defects is acceptable
Good (G)
The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably
deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and
contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration,
etc
Fair (F)
The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly
and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and
contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
Poor (P)
The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise,
etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing
Bad (B)
The record is unplayable or
might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler
