I have for sale a rare Vintage Mido Multifort Extra-Flat Vacuum Limited, 18k Gold bezel and capped lugs, fitted with the 917 NC manual wind movement.

If you’re looking at this piece I’m sure you’d expect the 917 movement to be a bumper movement, but this one is a manual wind. I believe there was only the one manual wind in this movement family and I’ve struggled (since the mr Ranfft’s passing and the website no longer being available- I know there are some databases out there) to find much info but am sure of it’s rarity! Please do have a search online to find any info on the movement if you wish.

The watch is fully working and winds and ticks away smoothly. The case is in good condition as is the acrylic. I absolutely love the dial on this piece and again, it is very rare and sought after! It has a beautiful authentic light patina and just looks fantastic, the gold of the dial and arrow indices really looks great against the gold bezel and lugs! This really is a fantastic piece! Case with is 36mm and reference between the lugs is 2758.

I doubt you would find another like this!
