Vintage folk art doll 13-1/2” From Stone Mountain 1970s.

Really cute doll. I bought her from a lady named Marge at the plantation in Stone Mountain Park. Starting in the late 1970s I along with about 15 other crafts people demonstrated our crafts at the plantation in Stone Mountain Park. Weekends and special occasions. We had a great time and met some of the top craftsman in their different vocations. I did quilts. Marge was the doll maker and did a great job. This is one of hers. She always did the X for eyes on her dolls. This one has on a pretty blue and white plaid dress with long sleeves over her white pantaloons. Her hair is braided stiff sisal rope. She has a light water mark on her forehead and a light fade mark of red. Not very noticeable. Very well made. I’m 81 and having to downsize my wonderful collections. Thanks for looking.
