Embroidery is done in a crewel work style.

Strong, rich colors. Fanciful flowers and one bird.

The embroidery is done on a dark ecru linen fabric.

The back is lined in a semi shiny brown cotton fabric.

3 small loops made of matching thread are on the top. One left, one right and one in the center.

Condition: The top edges on the cotton backing have darkened.

There are color variations in the ecru linen fabric making it appear lighter and darker, depending on how the light hits.

Small spots on the front.

Beautifully embroidered piece. Colors are a bit deeper and richer than the camera pictured. Background linen ecru fabric is also a bit darker.
