The Little Flowers of St. Francis of Assisi, Limited Editions Club

The Little Flowers of St. Francis of Assisi, translated by Dom Roger Hudleston, with an introduction by Arthur Livingston and illustrated by Paolo Molnar. The Limited Editions Club, New York published the book special copyright 1930. It is a limited edition of 1500 copies. The book is out of sequence. It is unnumbered, but was signed by the artist Paolo Molnar-C. I believe this is an “office” copy, because “This is Number” was not printed at the bottom of the colophon page. This is the 5th title in the 2nd series. The interior is in finecondition. The pages are tight and clean. There are no tears or marks. There are no signs of prior ownership. The cover is in fine condition. The slipcase is in very good condition at best. There is fading. The book is 8 1/2” x 12” tall and 262 pages plus a 1 page colophon. Paolo Molnar illustrated the book with 54 beautiful b & w wood-engravings.
