Up for auction is a precision CNC'd unfinished replacement or project guitar body. It is made to work with parts from your medium to high end RG. It has been sanded to 220 grit.  While different shops may have different finishing schedules and may want to sand the body further, I would consider it ready for light spot sanding, then straight to sealer, futher sanding, primer, then paint.

Body Wood................Basswood.  Please note that the grain pattern on the body you receive will vary from the stock photographs.

Pickup Configuration.....Hum Hum

Bridge Compatibility..... Original Edge, Lo Pro Edge and Edge Pro tremolos.  A Gotoh Floyd Rose will also fit as long as you use Original Edge style studs and bushings (Ibanez part numbers 2LE2a and 2LE2B).  No other bridge will fit without modifications to the body by a qualified technician.

Neck compatibility........Fits classic, Japanese specification, 56mm wide, 24 fret. AANJ RG wizard I/II necks. Fitting will be required to fit any neck that is over 56mm wide (Including wizard III and prestige necks). If performing rudimentary fitting work is out of your skill set, it is critical that you take the time to accurately measure your neck heel to determine the width, or be prepared to have a qualified technician perform the simple fitting work.
