The Scantronic XCELPLUS Lithium 7.2V battery is a superior upgrade over the 3V alkaline pack. The Lithium pack boasts a 20,000mAh capacity, compared to the original alkaline 5000mAh. The XCELPLUS Lithium battery has a shelf life of up to 9yrs when the Extended Life 20,000mAh model is purchased. 

Our high capacity battery backup for your 760ES wireless siren is made using lithium cells for proven quality and life expectancy. The Extended Life model offers 50% more backup duration from their siren than the XCELPLUS Lithium Standard model, and a massive 250% more longer life than the alkaline packs!

The Scantronic XCELPLUS Lithium 7.2V battery is suitable for all 760ES & 760EB siren bell boxes, offering almost maintenance free servicing. ER34615 lithium cells feature reduced voltage fluctuation at low temperatures, even at -25°C.  Superior to the alkaline packs; the 3V packs at 0°C drops 30% to 2.2V which could generate a false alarm. Whereas the lithium pack only drops 8% at -10°C.

XCELPLUS are the only producer of Scantronic batteries to include a PTC re-settable fuse, used to protect against over-current faults or reverse polarity insertion. All batteries can leak acid when they're depleted for long periods if gone unchecked. PTC re-settable fuses prevent further damage to the control panel from short-circuit faults caused by battery acid. As of 2014 all batteries sold by XCELPLUS now feature this vital protection.
