Here is a collection of six Dance Suites from the Rococo period that are fun to play and easy to listen to.  They are ideal for reading as well as performance.  The duets also offer an opportunity for introduction to or practice with ornamentation and improvised embellishment.   There are 28 pages of music and 4 of text in this book, and it is printed on heavy 67 weight paper and plastic comb bound for a quality publication.

At the request of a customer, I arranged these for Bb Clarinet and Alto Sax.  The ranges stay well within the practical range of each instrument.

Esprit Philippe Chedeville (1696-1762)

They are written for unspecified instruments.  Keys have been changed to fit this clarinet and alto sax combination better and to add variety.  They are of medium difficulty, although some of the dance movements are easier, and offer plenty of room for ornamentation and improvised embellishment as was the common practice of the period. 

Contains the French terms and English translations, a glossary, and performance and brief historic notes.
