Antique oriental camphor chest. Circa 1850-1899

This a gorgeous large hand carved chest.Painted in sage/olive green and the carvings are highlighted with metallic gold

Hand carved with deep carvings in the front and top,with shallower carvings on the sides and back.

Please look at the photos as the carvings are very hard to describe but they do speak for themselves!!!!

Inside has been painted with the same green and highlighted in gold.

I have also added a new clasp to the front.


This chest measures 30.5cm long. 19.5cm in depth and 19.5 cm high.
