This is a lot of 8 vintage Better Homes and Gardens hardcover cookbooks printed between 1968 and 1984. Included in the lot are:

3.) Meat Cook Book (4th edition, 5th printing, 1968)

4.) Casserole Cook Book (1st edition, 1st printing, 1968)

5.) Salad Book (1st edition, 2nd printing, 1970)

6.) Holiday Cook Book (1st edition, 7th printing, 1968)

7.) Homemade Cookies Cook Book (1st large format printing of 1975 book, 1982)

8.) All-Time Favorite Fish & Seafood Recipes (3rd large format printing of 1980 book, 1984)

Each book contains not only dozens of recipes but also a wealth of information on each food category and dozens of photos and illustrations.

Overall, the books in this lot are in good vintage condition. Every book has light-to-moderate wear on its covers, and a few covers have some stains. While the pages of most books are clean, there are a few exceptions: the Cookies and Candies book has a lot of stains and pen & pencil marks (such as checkmarks and asterisks) throughout the book, the Blender Cook Book has the original owner's name written inside the front cover, the Meat Cook Book has rippled pages and brown stains on the bottoms of its pages (some of which stick together a little at the very bottom edge) from contact with water, and the first 24 pages of the Casserole Cook Book are loose from the binding and have several stains and checkmarks and "x" marks in pen. Other than the first 24 pages of the Casserole Book, the binding is strong on all books, and all pages are crisp.
