The Scantronic XCELPLUS Extended Life model is a high capacity battery backup for your SDR-REXT-G2 wireless siren. The Extended Life model offers 50% more backup duration for up to 3 years life. Reducing maintenance on your security system.

The Scantronic XCELPLUS Standard model is also suitable for the SDR-REXT-G2 siren bell box, but may only offer 2-3 hours backup in the event of a power cut, and require replacing within 2 years.

The XCELPLUS Extended Life uses the highest capacity battery available on the market and unlike high drain consumer batteries designed to meet the demand of technology, it's produced using the highest quality industrial alkaline batteries for low drain applications resulting in a longer shelf life than consumer batteries.

Features:
XCELPLUS are the only producer of Scantronic batteries to include a PTC resettable fuse, used to protect against over-current faults or reverse polarity insertion. All batteries can leak acid when they're depleted for long periods if gone unchecked. PTC resettable fuses prevent further damage to the control panel from short-circuit faults caused by battery acid. As of 2014 all batteries sold by XCELPLUS now feature this vital protection.
