Lurk The Lavender Leopard

by Dorothy Van Kirk, Trish Muscarello

Lurk is very different from all the other leopards. Because he has that lavender hue, he is teased and teased every day. Lurk the Lavender Leopard is a Dr. Seuss-like rhyme that tells young children that making even one good friend can change everything. Children will learn that life is best when we all walk together. All children from ages three to ten will love the fun, singsong rhymes of Lurk the Lavender Leopard, which will instill within them that all of us are different in some ways-and that is okay.
