Up for sale here is my rare and super awesome 2000 Epiphone Les Paul Standard LPS-80 Japanese Domestic Market guitar with a "Cherry Sunburst" finish. These Japanese Fujigen built guitars were made after the Orville by Gibson and before the transition to the Elitist line and are absolutely unmatched in quality. Among the many outstanding features of this guitar, including the true ABR1 bridge and long neck tenon, the most distinctive is the "open book" Gibson headstock and font. The neck pickup has been swapped out for an unbranded Japanese zebra humbucker. Guitar is in decent overall shape with some dings, dents, chips and scratches. Small chip under the truss rod cover. Output jack cover is cracked. Neck pickup ring is cracked. Finish crack by the nut on the treble side. Includes an Epiphone hard case.
