No returns on CGC-graded books.

We handle all of our books with great care BUT NOTE: even when received directly from CGC, cases are not always free of mild scuffs, hairline scratches, "newton" compression rings, and other characteristics which may be visible from certain angles under specific lighting. CGC itself considers these case imperfections "normal" and insists that such case characteristics in no way affects the condition of the book itself and therefore the value of the item. CGC does not apply its grading to cases, and owners that are dissatisfied with what they perceive to be an imperfect case may resubmit to CGC for a reholder service which provides, for a very small fee, new encapsulation that will not affect the grade of the book. The CGC reholder service, however, may not guarantee that new imperfections in the case will not abound. In our experience and the experience of others in the trade, less than 20% of new encapsulated books arrive from CGC in "pristine" cases. Refunds will not be offered to any buyer claiming damage or devaluation due to case imperfections not easily visible in the high resolution images provided.
