Polished silk topper made by Tress of London, sold with original hat box, size 6 3/4 (UK) / 6 7/8 (US) / 55 (EU). 

Dates from late 19th century and bears the City of London arms on the interior. The silk is very shiny and polished, with no fluffing. 

Very good condition - very small patch of minor wear on crown, but overall in fantastic condition. Wear to the inside is consummate with age for a hat occasionally worn - there is some marking and discolouration. Please do see photos. Part of the fine mesh on the interior is coming away, but this does not affect how the hat sits.
