This auction is for 8 softcover (stapled binding) books. Each book measures about 6 7/8" x 8" and contain 12 pages including the wraps. They are copyright 1960 and 1936 by The Platt & Munk Co., Inc. This reissue was adjusted to recognize Hawaii's entrance into the United States and to rename Siam as Thailand. This set is complete with #'s 03450A through 03450H. Condition is good with light wear and age browning (especially at the edges). The Hawaii story has heavier browning and chipping on the cover. All are beautifully illustrated with both color and black & white drawings. Although the names are not given on the individual books, I believe the author is Elizabeth F. McCrady and the illustrator is Ninon MacKnight. The following titles are included:
