Matchbox Toys
Vintage Trade Catalogue - 1990
A4 Format - 44 Pages Full Colour - Stapled

Vintage diecast toys have become hugely collectable, and early catalogues are also now highly sought-after by collectors.

Matchbox diecast models first appeared in the 1950s, produced by the Lesney toys company, which was founded by Leslie Smith and Rodney Smith (the name being an amalgamation of their two first names). Matchbox grew to be one of the most successful diecast companies in the world, and the brand continues today, now owned by Mattel.

This 1988 Trade Catalogue has 44 A4-sized pages in full colour, with text in English. It contains details of the full range of Matchbox diecast vehicles, including the "1-75" miniatures series, "Super Kings", "Motor City", "Convoy", "Models of Yesteryear", and the "Dinky Collection", as well as other Matchbox toys, including Nursery and Toddlers toys. There is also a trading update from the company's management, and information including pack sizes, carton quantities etc.

An opportunity to buy a great piece that will rekindle childhood memories.
