~1940s Elgin watch box. Has outer box, inner case, and certificate. The outside box has its original tag on it, stating the box was for a 14K gold filled 17 jewel watch for $37.50.

The watch case has a green pad. The gold color is starting to fade and the case shows wear with some parts of the black paint flaking. Underneath is the authenticity certificate.
