An Edwardian period Doulton Lambeth Slaters Patent jug. It has a trefoil rim and cobalt blue glazed neck. The body tapers and has the Slaters decoration with patterns in the clay, gilt and enamel floral motifs. The handle is in an olive glaze as is inside the rim. To the underside are impressed marks along with the decorators mark, EB. Dates around 1910.
Condition
Some glaze flaws from firing just below the rim with some bubbles and voids. Minor firing flaws to the foot rim. Some wear to the gilt as you would expect.
