10K Yellow Gold Pendant 

Yellow and Orange Gemstones

15" Chain Marked "585" (14K) "Italy"

Purchased at a local estate sale. Neither the pendant nor the chain have been tested. I'm just going by the marks on each piece. 

This small pendant is a real fireball of color. The main stone is oval and a yellow that borders on pale orange.

It is surrounded by 16 small orange stones - 2 pear cut, 2 marquise cut and the rest round. I have no idea what the stones are. 

The pendant is marked "STS" and "10K" on the bail. It measures about 7/8" from top to bottom (not including the bail).

The 15" chain is probably not original to the pendant. It is marked "585" - which is 14K - and "Italy." The chain link style is, I think, called byzantine. 

The chain weighs in at 2.6g and the total weight of the pendant is 3.13g
