Blue Boards debossing Title and Author on cover as well as 7 jagged lines. Gold Gilt writing on the spine. Head and Tail show some shelf wear bumping, corners slightly faded. all 4 corners of the DJ flaps are trimmed corners, Book Club Edition in red lower front flap, toning to edges, chipping to top corners near spine, 2" closed tear to bottom rear spine, 2" closed tear upper front near spine (under a chip), two missing small chips to spine one under the N in Cannery and the other on the O in Row. Binding and spine are in excellent condition. Text block is as well- with deckle edge and minor wave to the block in the lower portion. Buy War Bonds Advertisement on back.
