Purchased new and worn a few dozen times.  Never yet washed (I'll leave that to the buyer since wash method could affect fading).  They'll eventually fade to gray in worn areas.  Slubby, 16 oz. denim.  I've removed the dark knight embroidery and have blackened the yellow selvedge lines on the coin pocket and both legs a few inches such that it shows black selvedge lines when cuffed.
