We have an enchanting huge RARE Moorcroft "Town of Flowers at Christmas" 10" dated TRIAL vase depicting festive snow covered houses, a christmas tree with lights and a holly wreath on a deep purple ground, on the wonderful 120/9 shape which is on offer in perfect condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or restoration.
The Town of Flowers at Christmas pattern is an adaption of the House & Town of Flowers designs created by Moorcrofts accredited designer Kerry Goodwin which were launched early in 2009. The backstamp on the base has the clearly impressed MOORCROFT MADE IN STOKE ON TRENT ENGLAND and painted marks.
The vase stands at a very impressive 10.25 inches high and is approximately 3.5 inches diameter across the waist and tapers into 2.5 inches diameter at the neck and 2.25 inches at the base. The circumference around the middle is 12 inches.
