Jodie Shepherd is the pen name of an award-winning children's book author. Under her real name, she's also a writer and editor at Sesame Workshop.

Joe Mathieu has been illustrating Sesame Street books for nearly 50 years. He is also the prolific illustrator of numerous other children's books, among them titles in the Cat in the Hat's Learning Library.
