Grant Stone Brass boots in dark burgundy kudu (African antelope) leather (maker's website: https://www.grantstoneshoes.com/products/pre-order-brass-boot-dark-burgundy-kudu).

Purchased fall 2023 and worn for one season; the fit isn't quite right for me so I'm moving them on. Minor heel wear, some scuffs that blend in with the leather's natural marks and scars.

Maker's description:

This wild antelope leather is full of character, offering a soft touch and heavier weight, a perfect combination for any boot.

Variation is expected as this article is the antithesis of a cookie-cutter article.
