The ARTHUR
Conan doyle
collection
~~~~~~~~
A truly wonderful
and unique collection of over 90 books by the famous British author, Sir Arthur
Conan Doyle, compiled together for the first time on one unique DVD.
Doyle is perhaps
best known for his detective fiction works that featured Sherlock Holmes as the lead character. In 1887 he published A Study in Scarlet, the first of four
novels about Holmes and Dr. Watson. In addition, Doyle wrote over fifty short
stories featuring the famous detective. The Sherlock Holmes stories are generally
considered milestones in the field of crime fiction.
Doyle was a
prolific writer and his other works include fantasy and science fiction stories
about Professor Challenger and humorous tales about the Napoleonic soldier Brigadier
Gerald, alongside plays, romances, poetry, non-fiction and historical novels.
Some of the books
contained within this collection are extremely hard-to-find and will provide a
valuable virtual library for the reader. Overall, an absolute must for anyone
with an interest in the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Sherlock Holmes and
early mystery, fantasy and crime fiction. The full list of titles included
speaks for itself….
