Cloves are the aromatic flower buds of a tree in thefamily Myrtaceae, Syzygium aromaticum. Cloves are the unopened pink flower budsof the evergreen clove tree. The buds are picked by hand when they are pink anddried until they turn brown in color. Madagascar is the Second Largest Producerof Cloves in the world.

These aromatic cloves have a number of uses toinclude: Spice blends like garam masala, pumpkin Spice, and many lovely teas.Clove’s essential oil, Eugenol, is responsible for it’s warm and sweet aroma.
