PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. This is not for the sale of a Tweeter. This is a repair service for your defective tweeter. You will pay the listing price times the number of tweeters you are sending us for repair. We will also repair your warped or broken or missing part of the flange by applying a new flat repair flange to the rear for an additional $10.
THIS EBAY ORDER IS OUR TRACKING INFORMATION, PLEASE DO NOT SEND DRIVERS WITHOUT PLACING THIS ORDER. WE HAVE HAD DRIVERS SHOW UP WITH NO DOCUMENTATION. When we receive your order, we will email you the shipping details.

This service completes our repair service of all AR-3 and AR-3a Tweeters and Midranges.

  • By now, almost all of the AR-3a tweeters suffer from low output volume or no response at all. You will send your tweeter to us and we will rebuild it. We will replace the voice coil, install a new fabric dome that will snap back into shape if you happen to bump it, apply new internal and external suspensions and new long leads for re-installation.
  • Be aware, once we rebuild your original tweeter, it will likely be louder and clearer than your other one unless you rebuild them both. However, if you feel that your second tweeter still has a strong output, you can achieve a balance with the rear volume controls.
  • These will be damaged in shipping unless you pack it well. Surround each tweeter with a generous wrap of bubble wrap and box in a sturdy box. Be sure they will not bump against one another when your carrier drops the box. Bubble wrapped and then double boxed with the inner box surrounded by shipping peanuts is even better. Insure it with the carrier. We have found the free Postal 6 x 6 x 7 in. Priority Box (you can order on line, USPS.com) to work well for the inner boxes. Then place them in a second sturdy box.
  • We will provide you the ship to address in Colonie, NY 12205-2116.
  •  Once your tweeter has been repaired, we will invoice you for the return shipping.
  • Note: if you intend to have us service your tweeter do not attempt to disassemble or repair it prior to sending it to us. It is very likely that you will damage it. This has taken us years to perfect this repair under a magnifying lens. We may reject any with signs of previous repair attempts. We may apply an added charge if a prior attempt at a repair is found and we are still successful.
