ITEM DESCRIPTION:

This sale is one book of your choice from the Will & Ariel Durant "The Story of Civilization".

Set of historical books written by Will Durant that looked at civilization from the era before Christ, with these 10 books taking the reader through the age of Rousseau and the Revolution.  They cover the history, philosophy, and religion of the time.  The books were written and researched by Will and Ariel Durant.

Just a fun note as you don't often think of Will as being a fun fact. Will and Ariel were married when she was 15.  He was a teacher at Ferrer Modern School in New York City but resigned his post to marry Ariel.  She roller skated to their wedding at City Hall.  They died within 2 weeks of each other in 1981.  Looks like they made a good choice in partners.

PLEASE NOTE:  Books, tapes, DVDs all ship by Media Mail.  It's not the quickest but it will save you lots of money.  If you need something quicker just let me know and I will let you know the new shipping charges and re-invoice you for the difference.

PACKAGING:  I use used boxes and fluff.  I do this because I care about the planet and all who live here and my future generations.  Just thought you should know.

SHIPPING COSTS:  I charge actual shipping to your location.

SHIPPING TIME:  I usually ship the same or next day after your purchase depending on whether my mail has already been picked up.  If you purchase on a Friday after mail time I may not be able to ship until the following Monday.

TIMELINE:  When I ship you will receive a letter from PayPal with your tracking information.  There is a link on eBay so you can check the progress of your package.
