HISTORY: MANGANI & C. - PORCELLANE D’ARTE-
internationally famous Italian factory producing highly artistic
goods of porcelain since the 19th c.
Organized in early 1900’s by Cesarino Mangani & his five children.
Continued after 1929 by his son, Alfiero, specializing in restoration
who, with his son Ivan, opened the Sesto Fiorentino factory in a
Suburb of Florence; joining Richard Ginori Co. & other prestigious
Porcelainists.)
Amazingly prolific, the quality productions offered by brothers
Ivan & Lando Mangani and their family, have continued today under
the direction of Giulia Mangani and a Porcelain dynasty that now
combines modern technology with old traditions.
Our Family Design Firm, once located in the NY Metropolitan Area,
was fortunate to have an ongoing Business and Friendship with
this respected Florentine Firm. From late 1960’s through 1990;
a large selection of their finest Traditional (Museum Style) and
fantasy (Contemporary Creations ~Lighting & Accessories~)...
were imported and sold to our Clientele.
(Mangani Items were also sold by “the Oggetti Company” in
the Miami area ...who specialized in the contemporary.)
Here is one of the last of these rare, vintage pieces from our
private collection ...offered as "the last of the best”!
