Roberta Williams and Jane Jenson are stars in the game writing world. If I saw either of their names on a game box, I'd buy it because I knew it would be a good story at the least. This one is Jensen's work and I love it. While the graphics are as rough as you'd imagine from a game made in 1999, it is still vibrant because the characters and story are so well written. It doesn't hurt that the great Tim Curry voices Gabriel Knight! There's one infamously dopey puzzle to solve in this game but the rest are wonderfully integrated into the story.
The box has broken or cracking edges (see pics) but is in good shape relatively speaking. The inner cardboard shell has been replaced with a slightly off size one in superior condition. This includes the prologue booklet and the game manual booklet. There might have been a promo mailer at some point but it's not here if so. I will pack this in a very hard shell box for safe shipping.
