Volume 1 , the first hardback volume edition of the Strand magazine . Among many other contributors there is a short story from Arthur Conan Doyle " The Voice of Science" pages 312-317 .

The volume has worn boards which are edge rubbed with some staining and soiling , the spine is rubbed with some fading and soiling . Pages are without writings or inscriptions , are clean with some foxing spots and mild soiling . patterned page edges are clean but slightly dulled .
