This means you will have to have a chip key encoded for the PATS (Passive Anti-Theft System) and your factory radio will have to be unlocked in order to work, and/or have this ECU reprogrammed with YOUR VIN# in order to start the vehicle. NOT PLUG-AND-PLAY. Just a "Junkyard part" if you will.

WORKS TESTED: I pulled this from my 2007 Ford Ranger before I recently sold it to the local junkyard. It worked perfectly well before I stopped driving the vehicle about 2 years ago. Stored with battery disconnected so no corrosion on the pin connectors. I sold the vehicle because the automatic transmission was physically broken and I couldn't afford a replacement. Recently checked it for vehicle mileage, all dash lights post.

What's included: The computer, in it's metal bolt-in clamshell, and a note with the donor VIN and mileage as above. Well packaged with anti-static bag and bubble wrap.
