Boosey & Co. Ltd wood flute- one piece body & foot - #13959
Serial number lists indicate this flute was manufactured in 1891.
Body is stamped "Boosey & Co Makers 295 Regent Street London 13959 Fletcher Bros. B. C.". Fletcher was likely the importer as we are located in the Canadian province of British Columbia (B.C.).
Headjoint is stamped "Boosey & Co. London 13959".
All mechanisms fully functional. NO pads so obviously does not play at all.
Closed hole, offset G, C foot.
Head joint is missing crown. Hairline crack entire length of headjoint. However, the headjoint is lined with metal.
Also a short crack on the top of the flute, through the stamping.
Includes original case in poor condition.
There maybe other flaws not mentioned. This flute is sold As Is with no warranty or guarantee.
