I believe the famous “Square Red Box”often came signed on the base as “1501”, “1501 M”, “1501 L”, sometimes with no reference at all , sometimes with “Made in Switzerland”, sometimes not…

I’VE HIGHLIGHTED ANY FLAWS OR DEFECTS AS CLEARLY AS POSSIBLE IN THE PICTURES, BUT NOTE THAT THERE IS STAINING INSIDE THE CARD OUTER BOX; A LITTLE STAINING ON THE WHITE SATIN OF THE RED BOX; MISSING GOLD PRINT ON THE RED BOX; AND THE GUARANTEE CARD IS CREASED.

The box opens and closes with a satisfyingly loud and crisp snap and the box itself is in pretty good shape (in my opinion — I’ve seen quite a few of these boxes)

I believe 60s and 70s Seamaster models also came in this box.
