We fully tested this with our reference system which is an NAD C368 Integrated Amplifier and Audiolab 6000CDT CD transport and our Triangle BRO3 book shelf speakers. The subwoofer is very powerful so we had to turn down the gain. There is a tremendous amount of low frequency bass output if you are looking for that.

This is very heavy 40 lb sub and about 45 lbs shipping weight so shipping is based on the size of the box and weight.
