The board will always be Authentic to Nintendo (or Sega). The main ROM chips will also always be authentic to Nintendo (or Sega).

If you would like to know what specifically was done to this exact title, send us a message and ask. In almost all cases, the labels are done and the cartridge shell is thoroughly cleaned. If the game takes a save battery, it is ALWAYS replaced, even if the original battery still works.
