The Wool Jeep Cap has been used by the US Army since World War Two, and although originally designed to be worn beneath a helmet, it now provides military personnel with the warmth and extra padding they need in operational conditions.

Optional ear cover is provided by a fold on the outside of the cap, and the peak has a flexible plastic inner for extra support.

The cap’s casual look made it popular for wearing on its own in addition to under a helmet, and today the jeep cap continues to be enormously popular with sportsmen.

Although cheaper acrylic versions are now readily available, they can’t compete in sheer quality with the original version.

Made from 100% wool, it allows the head to breathe while keeping it warm and dry.

Available in green and black, the jeep cap even keeps its shape when wet, and the one size will fit the majority of heads.
