If you want to check your inside leg length please lie jeans flat & measure from the crotch to the hem
To check your waist measurement please lie jeans flat, don't bring up the front of the waist to match the back
Measure across the very top of the waist inside the waistband that is to get your waist measurement
Please keep in mind different styles of jeans & the rise makes a difference too
