Here we have a Blu-ray of the classic 1949 noir/mystery/psychological thriller The Third Man

Directed by Carol Reed (Odd Man Out, The Fallen Idol, Our Man in Havana) and stars Orson Welles, Joseph Cotten, Alida Valli, Trevor Howard and Paul Hörbiger

Rare US import (without French text on the covers like Canadian Blu-ray titles tend to have), part of 'The Criterion Collection' which is a range that tends to be highly collectible among Blu-ray enthusiasts and aficionados of classic/foreign cinema. Confirmed as Region A-locked so please make sure you have a compatible Blu-ray player before committing to any purchase

Unsealed but is in excellent condition

As pictured, this is the very rare and long, long OOP (Out of Print) cardboard digipack version which opens out to reveal the disc sitting in clear plastic housing inside, and has a cardboard slipcover which this fits into. Also, comes with the collector's booklet inside the case which is something that comes with all Criterion Blu-rays

This digipack version is rare and difficult to come by nowadays as it was discontinued/made OOP by Criterion ages ago, and it's very unlikely that they'll be producing any more

This US import of The Third Man is widely considered to be the definitive version of the film to own; as this is a Criterion release, needless to say it features exceptional PQ/AQ and contains a vast array of Bonus Features

Postage to the UK included in 'Buy It Now' price; will ship elsewhere but please add an additional £8 to cover shipping to Europe and £13 for everywhere else

PayPal accepted; will dispatch within 24 hours of payment being received
