This vintage jacket was made by Indian designer Laurence Kazar, whose beaded evening wear was the epitome of glamour in the 1980s and early 1990s (his label was active through 1994). This particular piece is made from beautiful red silk that is heavily embellished with beads and sequins in gold, fuchsia, turquoise, and blue. It fastens with small invisible hooks from top to bottom in front. There are shoulder pads that can be removed. Condition is very good. There are a few sequins missing on the left shoulder, but they aren't glaring. Overall, the jacket looks great!
