A superb example of this highly collectable, genuine, Anglepoise 1227 lamp.  Has just been rewired with period black twisted cable

                   and new chrome bulb holder/switch.  Lovely condition with just minor marks from decades of careful usage.

        The 1227 lamp was produced between 1935 and 1968. There were various minor changes over that time. I believe this to

                          be an earlier version as it has the shade with a turned-over lip, possibly late 1940's or early 1950's
