PHOTOGRAPHER ROBERT DOISNEAU A PHOTOGRAPHER’S LIFE BY PETER HAMILTON 1995 1ST.  I have a lot of books about photography and photographers currently listed on eBay both here in New York and in Florida.  Please find another: “Robert Doisneau- A Photographer’s Life” by Peter Hamilton.  This rather large hard cover book (10 x 13 x 1 ¾ inches 384 pages) was published by the Abbeville Press of New York dated 1995 and the First Printing of the First Edition (if I am reading the coding correctly).  It is bound in blind-stamped black cloth with white titles on the spine and protected by a pictorial dust jacket.  Please see the photo of the Table of Contents for your further information.  The book is very well “illustrated with more than four hundred photographs in duotone many published for the first time.”

Condition:  This book is in near fine condition.  There has been some scuffing to the glossy finish of the dust jacket and some slight bumping to its corners.  It is not price-clipped.  The hard covers are faintly dusty as the cloth attracts it but are generally without blemish and very presentable.  Inside the book is unmarked and the pages and plates are clean and bright throughout.  Both hinges are intact, and the binding is tight and sound.  This book is not ex-library or a remainder.

Shipping:  This book will be very carefully packed, with bubble wrap and with solid cardboard for their protection and promptly mailed upon payment.  Please note that I do not charge for packing and handling; all you pay is the postage.  Economy postage for this very large-sized and thick hard cover book will be only $9.00.  International and Canadian buyers should be aware that this very large hard cover book will easily exceed the four-pound weight limit for International First-Class mail.  Accordingly, this book will only be shipped internationally or to Canada using eBay’s Global Shipping Program.  Within the US for domestic mailings, combined shipping for multiple purchases is gladly offered.  You will pay full price for the shipping of the first book and half price for any other that same week.  For example, two books with shipping at $4 each will ship for $6 combined.

The eBay site has become so popular that it is difficult to find your way back to a seller with an interesting array of listings.  Please consider “book-marking” my site so you can see a constantly changing inventory of other truly vintage books and/or collectible works.

Please also be aware that all my current listings are “spring-summer season” listings held here in New York.  Once it starts getting cold here in Upstate New York, I will head back to Florida and switch out these listings for another catalogue of different books held there.

Please don’t hesitate to send any questions; I will monitor closely and respond promptly.  Thanks, and enjoy.
